Since 1985, the Lancaster Junior Women's Club has provided a creative
outlet for local youth though a wide array of fun craft projects for
children at Zane's Square.
LJWC develops and staffs an arts festival each year at the Lancaster
Festival for approximately 400 area children. The festival includes a
series of arts projects with a designated theme that children can make
and take home, free of charge.
In 2009, LJWC was honored for our commitment of time and talent for the
past 24 years with a brick in the Lancaster Festival Walk Of Fame,
which is placed on the concert grounds at Ohio University - Lancaster.

The Lancaster Junior Women’s Club initiated the Holiday Home Tour with the goal of raising money for scholarships to assist area students with their dream of a college education.
In subsequent years, the proceeds have been used to support our Adopt-a-Teacher program, which continues to provide grants to local teachers to fund special enrichment projects
not afforded by the regular school budgets.
Through both projects, LJWC
has worked to support and encourage education within our community.
